My Thumb is Green!...and red, and yellow and purple

Two years in a row!! Whoohoo! The daffodils are being shy, but the tulips are struggling to figure out what season they're in. The cold temps and lingering snow are very confusing to them. It's exhilarating to go outside and actually see the results of planting. Hopefully, it's the only beginning. Wonder if my luck will run out if I plan more flowers!???

Lizards, Quads and Arches

Dancin' With the Lizards

We just got back from (my) first Moab trip. It was absolutely beautiful! We took the quad and saw unbelievable sights. I even hiked up "sliprock" to Delicate Arch...about a mile plus. I only stopped...5 times. Yes, grandma is out of shape. I used to walk all over. When I saw a lady who was about 7 or 8 months pregnant, I decided...yep, time to get in shape! We stayed at an RV campground across the street from every place we needed to go. Definitely a place to see. We met a nice couple from Holland who comes to the U.S. every other year.

Sun Valley, ID Trip

Dave and family came down for a week. We went to Sun Valley, where his company has a condo. While there, we went tubing down a BIG hill and went ice skating. The girls had a blast tubing and I actually went down once. Audra went further up and came down in about 4 seconds. Everyone was very impressed! We also went ice skating. The girls went for the first time and did fantastic. I put on skates for the first time in 40+ years. Forgot how much concentration was involved! Only fell once! The girls did great and Audra took lessons from a professional and did fantastic! It was a lot of fun. We went through town looking at the shops and had dinner. It was a great trip...beautiful weather. The kids came back, stayed the night and left the next morning. The baby was sooooo good. Miss them already.
