Relief Society Birthday/Enrichment Night

Tonight we had a really fun Birthday/Enrichment evening. We started out at the food court...then proceeded to the "mall" which was really different classrooms. Each room portrayed different spiritual thoughts while we shopped to remind us who we are and the impact we make on each other. Took a cute pic of Chuck's cousin sticking her tongue out...told her I was going to post it...hee hee! If you look closely, you'll see a pic of me in the poster at "The Gap".

The R.S. and Young Women's organizations really put a lot of time and effort in to make this come off. Enjoy the pics! I took the "food court" pics before people got there...talk about yummy food!

Introducing Kelsie Julianne Boyack

Here is a pic of little one. She had some problems since her birth on Monday. She had stopped breathing a couple of times and went blue. They got her going again, but scared Jay and Brie to death. They were afraid of sleeping in case she did it again. Doctors say she's fine and will be coming home today. It had something to do with her guzzling down formula and possibly getting it in her lungs.

And this is why I'm going gray!! The other picture is of Khloe. She was playing hide and seek and I found her in my closet.

We are very thankful for her and all of our grandchildren. They are so precious to us and we love each and every one of them and are so proud to be their grandparents!

It's A........GIRL!

She's here! Weighing in at 8 lbs. 5 oz., 20 1/2 " long, tons of dark hair and blue eyes (for now anyway), Kelsie Julianne Boyack was born. It just dawned on me that I don't know exactly what time that took place...somewhere around 7 p.m. Kim called and said NOW...I gathered up the 2 yr. old, grabbed bags and we left for the hospital in the snow...again. I'm thinking this winter will never end.

It was 1 1/2 hrs. before we saw her. Her sugar levels were low so they ran some tests, fed her formula to boost her up and then brought her in. You forget how tiny these little ones are. She just laid in our arms cooing. Her color is perfect and no flaws or scratches.

Mom is doing well...glad it's over...and tired. She's shaking a lot, but they said that's normal. Jay is pleased as punch with his new little girl. Khloe was so soft with her and loves her new baby sister. I have lots of video, but left the still-shot camera in the camera dock to make sure the battery was full. Didn't really help me at the hospital now, did it!? Not sure when pics will make it to the blog. Hopefully, tomorrow.

We now have 14 granddaughters and 6 grandsons and couldn't be happier. Well, it's 11:28 p.m. and I have a little one who is on her second wind. I'm going to try and convince her she's tired. Goodnight!!!

"SMILE"......

While waiting for baby to come, thought I'd share what took place Sunday.

I got a phone call 30 minutes before church started inviting me to a "photo shoot" with the Young Women and Relief Society sisters. We're having an Enrichment Night this week and the theme is "Bridging the Gap". They're making posters of us and putting them in the store (one of the rooms in the building) made to look like "The Gap". Not sure what the other rooms will be.

After church, I ran home, threw on some jeans and went to Jennifer's house. I didn't realize she was a professional photographer! She has a full-on studio downstairs.

We had so much fun, and some of us (won't mention names....Grazia), got crazy! It was really fun. Anyway, they sent an email with the pics for us. If interested in peeking, check out http://www.jenniferfairbanks.blogspot.com/

I've always said that life was an adventure!! You never know what's going to happen.
